Local Cable and ISP Service

Community use of Internet and the reception of distant television signals are issues that have been addressed by small communities by building a 2-way cable television service that functions as a local community network. In Chisasibi, Ginwapt Cable TVserves over 600 homes as the obnbnly local service provider; in Wemindhi, Quebec, Creenet offers both TV and Internet services to all 250 homes and has installed telephone capability.
